ABOUT
BLANK THE DOG PRODUCTIONS (BTD) is a LA/NYC based ensemble Theater Company that is dedicated to developing and fostering new work by emerging, adventurous and experimental theater artists. Celebrating our 10th year we have had many successful productions, including original work written by members of our company and several Los Angeles and world premieres. Our
focus is the conception, interpretation, and development of the unoccupied space.
Our work is developed through a collaborative process in which all of has equal input in the development of the work. Between 2003 and 2011 we successfully produced five original projects written by members of our company as well as Los Angeles and World premieres. By taking an all hands on deck approach in our process, we concentrate on one project at a time. Each production has been a successful test of our ability to effectively collaborate and produce innovative theater.
BTD projects include Dino by Bryan Buckley; Strom Thurmond is Not a Racist by Thomas Bradshaw; Week #29 of 365 Plays/Days by Suzan-Lori Parks; Machinal by Sophie Treadwell; Trippin with no Luggage written and Performed by Amanda Gunderson. We are currently developing Carolyn Bryant for production in 2016.
